House With No Steps is a leading provider of quality residential, employment and ancillary services to people with disabilities throughout NSW, ACT and Queensland. We are committed to innovation, continuous improvement and building strong relationships.

We are looking for volunteers to support our Funky Squad which is a group of adults with disabilities that go on outings once a fortnight on Saturdays. Outings include Movies, ten pin Bowling, day at the Zoo, Bushwalking, BBQs and many more exciting day trips.

The main duties include: supporting independent adults with a disability during the outings and small administrative tasks associated with the role.        

Essential Criteria:
You will need to be an enthusiastic person who enjoys meeting new people; responsible and reliable, positive and open to learning, good communicator, patient and flexible.

If being part of a supportive team and demonstrating a positive attitude towards the promotion of supporting people with disabilities is for you then we strongly appreciate all applications.
A capacity to meet the physical requirements of all outings (walking/standing for long periods of time, using public transport) is needed.
