Business Development Project Manager
Work Type: Full-time position (12 Month Contract)
Location: Burleigh, QLD

Due to expansion, we are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Business Development team based on the Gold Coast.  The role will involve researching and sourcing funding opportunities and creating and lodging professional responses to these, using a collaborative and innovative approach.

Essential Criteria:
  • 3-5 years experience in the disability sector (Community Services, ADE, DES);
  •  Proven ability to research, coordinate and prepare high quality funding submissions;
  • Effective time management skills including the ability to meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge and experience in project coordination;
  • Knowledge of person centred practices;
  • Ability to form trust-based relationships with relevant stakeholders;
  • High aptitude in communication and networking;
  • Strong competencies in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook programs and administrative functions;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including the capacity to present confidently and to work effectively to build positive relationships;
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the capacity to research and prepare high quality reports for a range of audiences, using a wide range of information technology tools;
  • Strong understanding of financials and ability to create budgets
  • Knowledge of Disability Service Standards, occupational health and safety and other relevant regulatory and legislative frameworks;
  • Relevant qualifications in Disability or related field;
  • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or be entitled to work in Australia;
  • A clear criminal history screening.
