Our Registered Training Organisation is a specialist in the its field, providing quality, flexible programs leading to nationally recognised qualifications, alongside a suite of targeted short courses. To effectively meet the demands of significant growth we are looking for experienced training professionals across a range of disciplines, to join our team. While our initial focus is on facilitation of qualifications from the Community Services suite of qualifications, we are also interested in hearing from trainers with skills to facilitate in other areas, such as entry level IT and Front Line Management.
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAA40104 or TAE40110)
- Qualifications in a relevant field at or above Certificate IV level. The following would be highly regarded: Disability Work; Home and Community Care; Community Services; Youth Work; Children's Services or related discipline including First Aid.
- Sound knowledge of the VET System
- Demonstrated track record of competence in the facilitation of both group and individual learning, both on and off the job.
- Demonstrated competence in conducting competency assessments.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Competence in a range of information technology applications, particularly Microsoft Office suite of products.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible spread of hours across a range of locations
Desirable Criteria:
- Additional qualifications e.g. Business, Hospitality, Horticulture, Information Technology or Nursing
- Experience in developing learning and assessment resources.
- Experience in e-learning
- First Aid Certificate
- Experience working with both people with disabilities and those who support them.
- Experience in delivering training programs to CALD and Indigenous learners
• Location in regional and rural areas, or willingness to travel.
