Support Worker ACT & Queanbeyan

House with No Steps is a leading provider of a range of services for people with disabilities throughout the ACT, NSW and QLD.  Our services in the ACT support students with a disability to link with their community while in Queanbeyan we have an accommodation support service.

We are currently seeking motivated, energetic and experienced people to fill the role of Casual Support Worker in one or both service types. 

Essential Criteria:

  • Ability to connect with people and implement strategies to engage them in their community
  • Experience in supporting people with personal care and domestic tasks
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to use basic computer programs
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Current driver's licence
  • Current first aid certificate (or willing to obtain one prior to commencement

• Understanding of, and commitment to a person centred approach
