Our living and accommodation services

Our disability accommodation services can give adults with disabilities a place to call home, stability, security, and the chance to be part of their community.

We have a range of accommodation options to suit different needs, and we’ll work with you to find a service that’s right for you.

Supported living (group accommodation)

We have a range of apartments, villas, and houses where adults can live and be supported in group accommodation. This option would suit those who are unable to live on their own or with their family.

Whether you need support around the clock or just for a few hours each day, we’ll work with you to design a support program that suits you.

Support in group accommodation can help you to:

  • Stay healthy and safe
  • Make friends
  • Access other services
  • Maintain your personal care
  • Learn independent living skills
  • Be a part of household routines
  • Participate in community activities

Drop-in support

If you would rather live in your own private rental or a shared unit, we can provide drop-in support where a support worker can come to your home to help you with daily household tasks. We can provide support with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, shopping, money management, and Government services such as Centrelink.

We’ll also support you to develop your own living skills so you can enjoy greater independence as time goes on.

Independent living skills

Are you ready to move from your family home or group accommodation to a place of your own? Our independent living services can help you learn the skills to do just that. We’ll work with you to develop an independent living program based on your needs and goals, covering areas such as:

  • Travel
  • Cooking
  • Money and budget management
  • Making decisions
  • Communicating and listening to others
  • Building confidence
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Adjusting to change
  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Looking after your home

Emergency housing support

If an emergency or a crisis means you can no longer live at your usual accommodation, we can support you to find other accommodation at short notice.

This support can be short term to meet your immediate needs, or we can also support you to find a stable longer-term solution that will provide you with the support you need in the future.
