What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme is a new system of providing support to people with a disability, their families and carers and is being progressively rolled out across Australia.
NDIS rollout
The scheme was launched July 2013 in four locations. Full rollout will commence from July 2016, and by 2020, the rollout will be complete across Australia.
NDIS eligibility
Eligibility to receive funding under the scheme is based on your location, age and whether you meet the requirements for disability or early intervention support.
