Make friends and have fun with out our activities for children with disabilities
For children with disabilities, our activity programs are the perfect opportunity for kids to see new places, try new things, make friends, and have fun! For kids, having the chance to make friends and have a sense of belonging, can be the best part of our programs.
Whether your child is creative, sporty, or loves playing games, we can work with you and your child to design a program full of activities they'll love - and that suit you.
There are so many activities to choose from...
Your child can get involved with all sorts of fun activities and excursions – just a few fun ideas include:
- BBQs and trips to the park
- Indoor games
- Concerts and shows
- Sports and outdoor games
- Arts and crafts
- Dance and movement
- Music groups
- Joining a local sports team or church group
For children of all ages, our youth groups are a great way to meet new friends and have new experiences.
The members of our youth groups meet at least once a month to enjoy a wide range of age-appropriate activities with the support of both Support Workers and volunteers.
We plan the activities from feed-back from our consumers - sometimes enjoying a BBQ and outdoor games, going to dinner and a movie, or building confidence doing an activity like indoor rock climbing.
Often, the members of our youth groups as well as their families, make lasting friendships.
If your child would love to get away for a few days and spend time with other kids, our holiday camps could be just the thing! Full of fun and friendship, our camps could see your child take part in anything from boating, games, and indoor climbing, to campfire concerts, and dress-up nights.
No matter what activities are on the agenda, our camps give children a special opportunity to learn, make friends, and support each other.
And of course, with trained and experienced leaders taking care of our campers, you can relax knowing your child is in great hands.
