"Housework" is the name of House With No Steps' Volunteer Program. Volunteers play a vital role in the success of HWNS. Each year, volunteers devote many hours to helping people with a disability make the most of their abilities.

Our Volunteers come from all walks of life and assist in a wide range of activities, from driving the recreational activities bus, to being involved in fundraising or supporting our clients.

The "Housework Program" is designed to ensure that our volunteers enjoy the experience, gain personal satisfaction and fulfilment, learn new skills and make new friends.

HWNS ensures the highest level of safety and security for clients, staff and volunteers. All new volunteers are required to undertake a criminal history check.
