There are so many ways you can support House with No Steps. Together we can find or create a volunteer role that is just right for you. Read about just a few ways you can help below.

Provide one-on-one companionship  

Be a companion to someone with a disability and enjoy an activity together. With so many activities to choose from, just a few could be:

  • Meet for a coffee
  • Go for a walk
  • Go shopping
  • See a movie
  • Watch a footy game
  • Sign up for a class together

Work with one of our services

Spend time in one of our 280 disability services providing support including: 

  • Become a companion to our service users
  • Hold an activity such as music or arts and crafts
  • Assist our staff with activities and outings

Mentor one of our employees  

Over 600 people with a disability work in one of our diverse businesses. Become a mentor to one of our employees to help them:

  • Learn new skills
  • Develop in their roles
  • Form new work relationships

Lend a helping hand at one of our 27 businesses with roles such as:

  • Administration and day-to-day activities
  • Support our employees with a disability to develop in their roles
  • Assist with maintenance including painting and gardening

Provide support to one of our 6 regional offices including: 

  • Administration
