Residential Support Worker
An opportunity exists to secure a position within an organisation that prides itself on providing services for people with a disability that support a positive lifestyle alongside best practice.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic people to join our Residential Support Team.  As a member of this team you would support people with a disability in their daily living including personal care and community activities

We currently have casual vacancies in the Newcastle Area and on the Central Coast,  the positions involve shift work including awake night shift or sleepovers, afternoon and morning shifts.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience supporting adults with intellectual disability and/or a demonstrated commitment to working in this area and supporting people to increase their quality of life.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as be an effective and positive team member
  • A current NSW Driver's Licence
  • Current First Aid certificate

Desirable Criteria: 

  • An understanding of the NSW Disability Services Standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Salary is in accordance with the Social and Community Services (SACS) Award.
