Quality, Risk and Safety Advisor

HWNS is a leading provider of services to people with a disability, with operations in NSW, Queensland and ACT. We employ around 600 people with a disability in small business enterprises. HWNS is expanding and enhancing its commitment to quality, risk management and safety, with a focus on “excellence” in business process and outcomes for our employees.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Quality, Risk and Safety professional to join our team in the Sydney region. The position requires a commitment to “hands on” implementation and improvement of the Quality Management System, an understanding of the integration between quality, risk and safety and the capacity to build and support a positive culture of excellence that goes beyond compliance benchmarks. The position will have a direct role in supporting, training and coaching staff at all levels of the organisation. The Quality, Risk and Safety Advisor needs to be an outstanding communicator and facilitator, with the capacity to negotiate and influence, and to produce high quality documentation.
