An exciting and challenging career opportunity has arisen for an experienced disability services professional to manage a complex service during a period of transition. The position will be located in Sydney’s north western suburbs. A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

• Significant experience in the management of an accommodation service supporting clients with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours
• Effective case management skills, including the capacity to work with a range of stakeholders
• Willingness and capacity to develop and lead a team in a changing environment, and build a positive and supportive workplace culture
• Capacity to develop and implement health care plans, IPPs and the management of restrictive practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to mentor and train staff, and to facilitate productive discussions with a range of stakeholders
• Good analytical and report writing skills
• Comprehensive understanding of occupational health and safety
