January 1, 2016

We are excited to announce that we will now provide Early Childhood Intervention Services in Northern New South Wales.

Summerland Early Intervention Program (Lismore) and Ballina Early Intervention will join our organisation from January 1, 2016 and commence operating under the one name of ‘Summerland Early Childhood Intervention’.

We warmly welcome the teams from Ballina and Lismore as they join their expertise and skills with those of the early childhood intervention team from our ‘Little Learners’ Service in Forbes, Western NSW.

We will work together to design, structure, and deliver high quality family-centred services, and assist those we support to access every available option under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) when this is launched in Northern NSW from July 1 2017.

We’re committed to strengthening families in our local communities by providing holistic services that are easily accessed and designed with the family and their child at the centre of decision making.

About Early Childhood Intervention

Early childhood intervention services work with families and young children (0-7) with a disability or developmental delay, to identify their needs and deliver services and resources to meet those needs.

Early childhood intervention can make all the difference to a child’s development and future potential. A child develops at a very fast rate during the first years of life, so it’s important to have the right information and support for your growing child through these early years.
