House with No Steps is celebrating their Annual Human Rights Conference, to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The conference will look at how the organisation upholds and celebrates human rights.
House with No Steps respects, protects and promotes human rights. They are essential to living a good life, with freedom, respect, equality and dignity. The organisation believes that all people have the same rights, including people with disability.
The conference will feature a Key Note address and a Q&A session with Emeritus Professor Ron McCallum AO, who is a director of the Board of Ability First Australia. He was made an Officer in the Order of Australia (AO) in 2006 for his services to tertiary education, for industrial relations advice to governments, and for assistance to visually impaired persons and for social justice.
