Drop-In Support

Drop-In Support is for those who need help here and there with household tasks throughout the week.

What is Drop-In Support?

Drop-In Support is when a Support Worker comes to your home to help you with daily tasks – this could be for one hour per week or even several hours per day.

Having support with everyday tasks such as getting ready for the day or cleaning the house allows you to live independently in your own home.

Our Drop-In Support services

Whatever support you need through the week, we are here to help. Our Drop-In Support can be anywhere from one hour per week to several hours per day, depending on how much help you need.

Our Support Workers can support you with a wide range of household tasks including:

  • Cooking
  • Cleaning
  • Showering and dressing
  • Personal care
  • Shopping
  • Money and budgeting
  • Working with Government services such as Centrelink.

We’ll also support you to develop your own living skills so you can enjoy greater independence as time goes on.

What does the NDIS fund?

If you are an NDIS participant and have been approved for the support category ‘Core Supports’, you may be able to access drop-in support. This will appear as ‘supports for daily activities and household tasks’ in your NDIS plan.
