House with No Steps and The Tipping Foundation officially unite

We’re excited by the possibilities ahead, and we look forward to taking our customers and our staff on the journey with us.

We’re delighted to confirm that HWNS and Tipping have now merged

Our merger with The Tipping Foundation is now official.

It’s a big milestone for us. Supporting people with a disability in more places and in new and better ways – that’s the reason we’ve joined forces. We’re now one united organisation.

Our merger has been around 20 months in the making. It was first announced in late November 2017 and received approval from members before Christmas.

The merged organisation has a new Board and Executive Leadership Team led by CEO Andrew Richardson. Our 5000 employees support around 5000 customers.

Our merger isn’t about getting bigger. We’re better together, and we will strive to help every customer flourish under the NDIS.

We’ll provide consistent, high-quality services throughout eastern Australia; we’ll invest to attract, develop and retain great staff; and we’ll implement new technologies to make us easier to engage with and the NDIS easier to navigate.

There are no changes to our frontline staff now the merger has happened. The same great staff will continue to support the same customers in the same way. And for the time being, House with No Steps and The Tipping Foundation will continue operating under their own names.

With each day, we’ll work in partnership with our customers, their families and carers, as well as our staff, to further improve and refine our services. All changes will be well-considered. There won’t be change for change sake.
