A warm welcome from our CEO

Aruma (formerly House with No Steps) CEO, Andrew Richardson, warmly welcomes people with disability, families, and staff as part of the Victorian Government transfer.

Hi everyone

I’m Andrew Richardson, CEO of Aruma.

Aruma is thrilled to be taking on a range of current Victorian Government disability services.

Aruma was founded in 1962 by a person with a disability, for people with a disability. Our sole purpose is to help people with a disability live a great life.

To date, we’ve supported over two and a half thousand people to transition to the NDIS, with many great stories of improved outcomes and better lives.

We’re passionate about human rights, and our values centre on respect – respect for every person we are privileged to support, and respect for our valued and committed staff.

We are excited by the prospect of welcoming over 500 new customers and staff across regional and metropolitan Victoria to Aruma. We will work tirelessly to support you well and earn your trust, and will keep all of our new customers, family members and staff informed throughout the transfer process.

As we work together, you will have the opportunity to meet with different members of the Aruma team and have your questions answered.

Please keep an eye on our Aruma website for updates and information.

We look forward to meeting you and going on this journey together.
